Shahrbanoo Behjat (born 9 August 1963) is a contemporary Iranian author whose work centres on novels and children's stories. Alongside writing she has worked in translation, editing, calligraphy and storytelling.
She was born in Abadeh and spent her childhood and teenage years there. In 1979 she moved to Shiraz and continued her education at the Shiraz University High School, later studying Physical Education and then Persian Literature.
She began writing fiction seriously in 2005, in Ahmad Akbarpour's workshops in Shiraz.
